I’ll also be selling my North Dakota beer book, beer buttons, and some of my framed and matted original photography at the upcoming Holiday Art Markets at Aptitude, a brand new art studio space next to Best Buy in West Acres mall in Fargo. We’re open every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday (hours listed below), now through Christmas. This is such a fun, laid-back event that’s kind of the opposite of the usual holiday hustle and bustle.
Plus, you can color on my walls, commission a poem collaborative poem from Emily Vieweg (who will type it for you on the spot) and make your own bath salts with Brown Bird Handmade.
Kimberly Diede will be selling her fiction (set in Minnesota lake country!) in studio with me this weekend, but there are a bunch of us there and the artist rotation is a little different every time. You can find cool ceramics from Fermie Studios and SRJ Ceramics, adorable and unusual stickers, magnets and cards from BiblioTrek, quirky prints from Yellow Chair Press, photos, stones and handmade jewelry from Dina at Rockgirl Studios, and a bunch of other cool gift ideas, from stocking stuffers to major art installations.
And of course, I’ll be out and about selling books too! I’m really excited to be selling “North Dakota Beer: A Heady History” at both Ferguson Books and More locations. I’ll be in Grand Forks on the 13th and Bismarck on the 20th, so I’d love to see you if you’re in town and sign a book for you or someone on your Christmas list.
